This feature covered clay pit has been captured in Indian Ink & printed on 300gsm ‘ unicorn white’ recycled paper. Each copy has been hand signed by Jake & will be dispatched ‘unframed’.
Why Elstow?
‘A friend of mine, Ian Bailey was fishing Elstow at around the same time I was on Frogmore. I was fascinated by what he told me; baron surroundings, huge depths, moonscape features & very, very special carp. Some years went by until one day Dan Wildbore mentioned that it’s days were numbered. I knew then that this would be right at the top of my list to be ‘immortalise’ in ink. Not an easy job this one, Elstow is famed for it’s complex bars, whacky names and infamous features. I spent a lot of time looking over hand drawn maps & google earth images to get it right, hopefully there’s a few old members out there who recognise the humps & pumps I so carefully included.’ @jaketheheron
