High Quality Fishing & Outdoor Equipment

‘July was nothing short of hectic, continuing with my day-ticket travels up and down the country and a trip to France which will be coming out on video in the near future.
First up was a session at Manor Farm Fishery where myself and my client managed 14 fish between us including a mega old Booneys Lake mirror for Lee. Finding the clear spots in amongst the weed with small handfuls of bait definitely seemed to be the winning method.
After this I attended the Carp Festival at the Carp Society’s Horseshoe Lake and during the event managed a few fish including one of the really old original mirrors with little melted fins. The weekend as a whole was a massive success and despite the weather everyone turned out in full force to support the event.
Next up was my first ever trip to Westmoore Farm Fishery in Lincolnshire where myself and a tutorial client John took on the Sand Pit. Over the 48 hours we managed 15 carp including a few lovely twenty-pounders between us. Small Disperse Solid Bags at range, in between the islands over a small handful of boilie crumb and pellets soaked in lots of liquids definitely kept the bites coming.
I also managed to get over to RH Fisheries ‘The Mere’ for 48 hours, again with a tutorial client where we both experienced some hectic action throughout the session with over 20 carp between us. It was a case of working out where the carp wanted to feed and how much bait to introduce each bite. Once this part of the equation was sorted the bites consistently flowed and it turned into a really enjoyable session.
Finally, I managed to get out for a personal trip to Birch Lake on the Old Mill Lakes complex. This was the first time I’d fished the lake for over 3 years and I ended up with 5 fish including a couple of mega mirrors at  37lb and 40lb. Little bags of pellet with match the hatch hookbaits was the winning method with 20-30 free offerings around each rod with the throwing stick, just a really easy and nice way of fishing.’
‘I look forward to seeing what August brings!’
