If you’ve followed our work for any period of time, you’ll be well aware just how serious we take our Hook Sharpening! As precision engineers we know just what it takes to improve the quality of a hook point. To our mind there’s only one downside to sharpening & that is corrosion to the exposed point.

Many years ago, when the team here were developing our selection of dedicated tools for carp anglers, we worked with industry leading experts to develop a totally scentless ink that eliminates corrosion.  We packaged this up into an easy to use pen and named it The Solution!

As well as rig camouflage this unique product has been used by some of the very best anglers in the country to reduce the effects of corrosion. One edge that is massively underused is the light application of a flame to instantly dry the ink once applied to all sides of the point. As well as creating a better seal this makes a supremely smooth coating that will aid with hook penetration!
