Leads4Less owner, Joe Montalbano has been providing anglers with top quality leads for over eight years, using brand new lead, and secret techniques to create his unique matt finish. We recently caught up with Joe in his workshop; here’s what he had to say – 

“I have been producing the very best leads I can for over 8 years now. I have also been an obsessive carp angler for almost 20 years fishing a variety of waters from canal systems to gravel pits in and around the Essex and Hertfordshire region.

As a kid, I was unable to spend a fortune on leads in tackle shops as they where sold at premium prices, so was forced to make my own. Being a perfectionist, I knew I’d never be content until the product was 100%. Leads4Less was birthed from there really, by accident more than anything.

We operate as a ‘one-man-band’ and everything is made in house, from raw materials to the finished product. This keeps costs low, resulting in the supply of top quality leads to local independent tackle shops so that anglers have a more affordable lead option.

I jumped at the opportunity to supply Prolite Explorer. Having used the shop, I knew the guys wouldn’t settle for a low quality product, and knew my leads would fit right in with the rest of there stock. We look forward to a long future working with JAG and Prolite Explorer, and are working together on some exciting products, watch this space!”
