JAG have a long list of industry firsts, all of them designed, developed & manufactured by our own team of precision engineers. For many years we have been asked to produce a lightweight bivvy peg that can withstand the hardest of grounds. Our first model (2024) exceeded all expectations in performance & popularity; as a result, they totally sold out!
As with all of our products, we are continuously looking for ways to improve performance & reduce weight/bulk, we just couldn’t resist a few minor tweaks before machining this latest batch of pegs. The Xcavator Pegs (05/25) now feature an updated collar, hardened black points & a removable carbon Tommy Bar.
These pegs have been in development for over three years with a focus on being HARD GROUND specialists whilst weighing a fraction of the average ‘twisted steel / plastic top’ bivvy peg. Thanks to the incredible Turbo X point & T Bar these pegs effortlessly screw into the hardest of banks.

Het punt: As featured on our SC Distance sticks, these pegs are using our totally unique, four start, high helix point. When fully engaged, for every turn you will achieve 14mm in the hardest of grounds. Machined from High Grade 316 Stainless & hardened black!
Het lichaam: Voor gewichtsbesparing zonder in te leveren op duurzaamheid hebben we hoogwaardig aluminium gebruikt. De groeven helpen de pen stevig te houden in testomstandigheden.
De Tommy Bar: We haven’t spent three years developing the best point in the industry for you to whack them with a mallet! The Tommy Bar is there to aid you when SCREWING these pegs through hard ground. For ‘added lightness’ the removable T Bar is made of pure carbon.
Of u ze nu als standaard gebruikt bij elk bevestigingspunt of er een paar in uw tas bewaart 'voor het geval de grond hard wordt' - u bent niet alleen voorbereid op alle eventualiteiten, uw paraplu/bivvy-systeem wordt ook een stuk lichter als u die standaard gedraaide stalen haringen achterwege laat.
